A hand-drawn street map of Madrid, with illustrated buildings in the centre and tourist information. EOSGIS made it for Editorial MIC.
This is a hand-illustrated street map of Madrid, made by EOSGIS for Editorial MIC. It shows the city's street network with the name of every street and draws its buildings, in particular detail in the historic centre.
Zoom in and you can read the names of streets, squares and avenues: Gran Vía, Calle de Alcalá, Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Cibeles and the Paseo del Prado. The large green spaces also stand out, such as Retiro Park, the Botanical Garden, the Parque del Oeste and the Casa de Campo, along with the Atocha area.
The map also carries tourist information, explained through pictograms. The key, in both Spanish and English, is in the upper right-hand corner.
